With "fly by wire", an aircraft's manual controls are replaced by an electronic interface, allowing the pilot's inputs to be interpreted and translated into precise movements of the various flight control surfaces. Similarly, Shop by Wire™ acts as an alternative interface for Shopify, allowing users to input structured data and specifications instead of manually editing each product. The system then intelligently translates this input, along with its associated metadata, into the final result on the Shopify platform. Just as manually maintaining each Shopify record is time-consuming and unsustainable, manual control of too many parts of an aircraft can become overwhelming for pilots. Shopify utilizes Apps to expand its features, which could potentially disrupt a production environment if the app's behavior is unfamiliar. Additionally, installing apps adds extra load to the system. Unlike Shopify Apps, the Shop by Wire system operates as a separate web system and utilizes Shopify's API to sync data. Setting up the Shop by Wire system is easy and quick – simply configure a Private App in Shopify and provide the API key to Shop by Wire.
